Grading Information
Shotokan Karate Centres England runs multiple gradings throughout the year at various clubs, including at least two main Dan gradings per year. Your Sensei will authorise you to grade if he/she feels you have reached the required level.
Please note that students must complete the appropriate paperwork and submit this in good time to enable the smooth running of the grading.

02/07/2010 - 68 Beginners Grade with SKCE
On Sunday the 27th of May at Vale Farm SKC England, 68 beginners took their first grading with SKCE - seven of whom double graded to 8th kyu.

06/06/2010 - Keith Geyer Course
North London SKC England announce a very special training course with Sensei Keith Geyer 7th dan, to be held on Monday the 28th of June from 7 to 9pm at Ashmole SKC England. Sensei Geyer, now resident in Australia, was originally from South Africa where he learnt karate under the guidance of the world famous Stan Schmidt. Training cost is £10 and the course is open to only SKC England karateka above 3rd Kyu.
